POLITICS OF ISSUES AND IMPACT: BENCHMARK OF  HON. DACHUNG MUSA BAGOS (DMB)

To this part of the world, the concept of politics is almost a blatant deviation from the philosophical concept of politics. The regards to issues and sensitive needs is jettison that the unrealistic focus on materialism is the center of discourse.

Over the years, Representative Dachung Musa Bagos has staged a different narrative to the Politics on the Plateau. His approach and focus on Issues has endeared him to many who believe in the sustainable political engagement and adherence to the nature and scope of politics.

Rep Bagos has come top among his equals, so far, Hon Bagos has sponsored 32 bills at the floor of the House that are people oriented and development driven, his constant approach to Plateau and national issues has placed him to be a leading young parliamentarian who has sponsored the highest number of bills as a first time legislator, these and more led to his being appointed into sensitive committees, worthy of note among them is the  Deputy Chairman House Committee on Anti Corruption. Bagos is a hand of help, through his laudable interventions, he has empowered people in his constituency and beyond by providing financial and material aids to boost the entrepreneurial skills and business of the poor and less privileged, he also provided scholarship for students in Colleges of Education, Polytechnic, University (Undergraduates and Postgraduate: Masters and PhDs). Without mincing words, this better deal for Jos South/ Jos East is unprecedented which must be sustained.

These dynamic approaches are hinged upon  Hon. Bagos' exposure to national issues during his activism days and qualitative engagement at different fora, Bagos has been a voice advocating for quality and sustainable development in all facets of Nigerian life. Hon. Bagos is the best gift for Plateau state and Jos South Jos / East federal constituency.

If Nigeria desires to see a shift from the politics of tribe and irrelevant discourse, the philosophy of Bagos should be embraced and be set as a benchmark for true leaders across all levels of government.

Bagos should be RETURNED. Returning Bagos would be of great service to Nigeria not only Jos South / Jos East Federal constituency. It will be the best gift for the next generation.
